This is for an apartment I share with my girlfriend, we are planning on buying some art to put on the walls and were wondering if framing posters is:
1) too tacky.
2) will look like it belongs in a dorm room as opposed to an apartment.

I have looked on google, using large art, large format art, hotel art, lobby art, none of these seem to work. I am talking art that is 4 - 5 feet high and 5 - 7 feet in length. Any help would be appreciated. Online ordering is best for me. Landscapes are our favorite theme. No photography prints. No murals or tapestries either. Sorry to be so picky…

I have 12 11×8 posters that I am looking to apply directly to shallow wooden boxes and then placing all of them inside a larger wooden frame.
