everytime i think i am certain about all the factors that you need to consider when framing, i always read or hear all these different things about framing things right. Im not talking about personal preference things like what color the frame should be or how how big of the frame you want, but instead things that are suppose to be there and consistent. like is there a certain rule that says this kind of poster should always have this number of mat boards or this kidn of poster should always have at least this wide of a frame etc etc. i just want to know all the facts im framing a very expensive piece of art and i really dont want to have any regrets.

Is the original art purchased from the artist (and therefore OWNED by the poster company), or does the artist receive rolayties? Or does the artist get a one time payment for the rights to print his or her original artwork?

And if you could, please mention about how much a good poster artist makes/gets per poster (whether it’d be the one time payment, royalties, or something else I don’t know).
