Art Print Appreciation

I am in lithography class and was told to sign my prints as bon a tirer. My teacher was very mean and told us to sign some prints as artist proofs if they weren’t “up to standard” and he talked a lot about “art conventions.” Is this how I have to sign prints? As a bon a tirer, edtion, or artist proof? Is it taboo not to sign this way? Why must I sign only in pencil?

I once saw in a psychology textbook for an AP course in high school a few examples of art by schizophrenics, and I thought it was really fascinating. I remember something like an eye in the palm of a hand in one painting, and there were a few where shapes like faces were embedded in other things, like landscapes. Stuff by Louis Wane looked cool but where can I buy it? I want the feline waves of force to be hanging on my wall.

The last poster I bought was thru a Art Supply and the last one I colored was in 1999. I haven’t seen any since then. It’s a giant 30×40 color your poster that is inside a blue tube, smaller ones are in a purple tube. The latest poster I got the following information off it : Doodle Art - Price/Stern/Sloan Inc. or a product by Putnam & Grosset Group Inc. I have looked and the most I have found is that they are no longer in print. Maybe I am not looking in all the right places. Would like to find these giant posters again.
These “Giant” 30×40 Color Your Own Posters came in a blue tube, and I looked up Doodle Art on the Web and did not come up with anything. Ebay doesn’t have anything (I looked that up as well). I am willing to pay a little extra if it is found outside the USA. Please help!!!
