I’m interested to know if is possible to sell your own photography to someone like a poster company for example. But, the only problem is that I’m not a professional photographer. I understand that competition is hot between photographers to have their work noticed, but photography is just a hobby for me at the moment, whilst I do my degree.

Is the original art purchased from the artist (and therefore OWNED by the poster company), or does the artist receive rolayties? Or does the artist get a one time payment for the rights to print his or her original artwork?

And if you could, please mention about how much a good poster artist makes/gets per poster (whether it’d be the one time payment, royalties, or something else I don’t know).
